Gasoducto Centauro del Norte, S.A. de C.V., is a company dedicated to the Transportation Service of Natural Gas through pipelines, in a firm manner. The project will consist of the following phases:

Phase 1:

Reception Point/Delivery Point located in the State of Baja California and to the Delivery Point located in the State of Sonora.

Phase 2

Reception Point/Delivery Point located in Pitiquito in the State of Sonora with the “Samalayuca-Sásabe” Transportation System and to the Delivery Point of Phase I.

The project has reliable engineering, construction, operation and maintenance processes, aligned with compliance with contractual obligations, as well as legal, regulatory and other requirements applicable to the project.

Transport system

To strengthen and cover natural gas supply needs in quantity and quality for energy generation and other applications in the northwest of Mexico, the “Samalayuca-Sásabe Gasduct” project was born, located in the states of Chihuahua and Sonora.

    Origin

    The Samalayuca-Sásabe gas pipeline has its origin in its interconnection with the San Isidro-Samalayuca gas pipeline, in the new Valve Position 001-MLV-001 located south of Ciudad Juárez in the vicinity of Federal Highway 45.​

    Final point

    The Samalayuca-Sásabe gas pipeline ends at its interconnection with the Sásabe-Guaymas gas pipeline, at Position 023-MLV-001 located north of the town of Pitiquito, next to Federal Highway No. 2.
